This is yet another of EGT’s games that features a classic theme. Of course, like most of the games in this series by EGT, it offers a modern spin to the old-school slot machines. Super 20 showcases all the iconic symbols of the first, original slot games. There are the customary fruits and additional non-edible symbols. We have lovely looking grapes, very juicy and incredibly realistic plums, a pair of sweet cherries, lemons and oranges. And lest we forget, the mouthwatering slice of watermelon. All of these are insanely well done, they literally look like you could reach into your screen and take them. The other symbols in this game are just as juicy, even though they aren’t meant to be eaten. The staple lucky number 7, with its glossy deep red surface is certainly one of our favorites. In addition to those, we have the ruby red star with its golden frame. However, as this is a vintage style slot, that’s all the diversity you’ll get here. Then again, vintage probably only applies to the symbols. Everything else seems rather futuristic in fact. The bright red background has a kind of sci-fi movie feel to it, reminiscent of the Matrix. It sets a great contrast to the dark blue reels and their gold lining. We’re not quite sure what the designers had in mind with the title, however, it looks like it should have been for another game.
The Super 20 slot game has three rows and five reels. It offers a total of 20 paylines, which are not subject to adjusting. You also won’t find the convenient feature that most EGT slots have of being able to click on the sidebars to see the paylines. Well, to experienced players this won’t be an issue. And of course we have the Gamble feature. It has the simple concept of allowing you to stake your last win and either increase it, or lose it. The side game itself is also very simple. All you need to do is guess the correct color of the card deck. Depending on the amount you’re gambling, you may have to successfully pass several attempts. The smaller the amount, the more attempts. If it’s large, it might only be one. Each successful attempt doubles the amount, until you have no more attempts. Then the total win pours into your balance. If you lose so much as on one attempt, you will lose the whole amount.
